WBUR Boston recently produced and aired on National Public Radio an excellent documentary series entitled "Quality of Death, End of Life Care in America," that is well worth a listen. The series explores quality of life vs. quantity of life issues, the rising costs of EOL care; from pain to palliative care; and the importance of having conversation with loved ones about your wishes at the end of life.
